The Met Gala Looks are usually the most important part of the night. The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala, which is known as the Met Gala, is one of the most exciting nights in the Fashion Designer’s calendar. It is way more exciting and entertaining than Oscar and MTV Music Video Awards. It’s the night where you can watch elites from every known aspect of life, whether it’s Music, Movies, and High Societies, dressed up all unique to match the theme of the Gala.
The event goes way back to 1948 when it was only to raise the money for the new Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, with the presence of high-profile elite fashionistas. Over the years, it has evolved beyond anyone’s imagination. It was only in the 70s when the idea of the Gala theme was first introduced.
