The Germans from Startech will unveil at the Shanghai Auto Show the first pick-up conversion of a Range Rover Vogue. This will not be a limited edition and will be mostly sold in the Asian market.
The result is a car that’s clearly one of the most exclusive in the segment. Despite it’s utility looks, the Range Rover Pick-up offers tons of power with 526 bhp from its 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine. The sprint to 60 mph takes 5.3 seconds and the top speed is limited at 155 miles per hour.

The exterior, besides it’s pick-up conversion, received a generous aesthetic package. We’re talking about a kit that increases the width of the car, a set of bumpers, a new front grill and different side wings. A great deal of the added components are made from carbon fiber and the 23” wheels are made from aluminium to save weight.
The transformation for the SUV to Pick-up required building more than 100 completely new parts made from aluminium, carbon fibre and steel, thus the rigidity of the vehicle remained the same. Since we’re talking about a premium car, the guys from Startech equipped the car with an electrically operated door for the “trailer”. The exterior is not the only part of the car which suffered modifications, almost all of the interior parts have been covered in manually stitched leather .
We don’t know if the future buyers will use the car to carry construction material but we’re sure that we’re going to see the car on the streets of Dubai.
