Skagen is no new figure on the thin, sleek watch market, so the news they are about to release a wearable device holding the very same characteristics made us smile. Established back in 1989, Skagen is a Subsidiary of Fossil Inc. providing a variety of minimalistic watches both for males and females alike. Given the current design of the pieces offered for sale by Skagen, it is expected that the new wearable will boast an appearance close to the model of which it’s based off.
Technology-wise, Skagen Connected Hagen watch will probably come with automatic time zone control, step counter, water intake checker and music controller. You won’t have to charge it – the smartwatch will run on a coin cell battery. For the outside, buyers will be able to chose between four colorways and interchangeable leather straps – a great plus that gives the premium feeling.
For the moment, we are treated with no more than a computer generated rendition of the wearable, but it’s clear that Skagen will move forward with the plan. Skagen Connected Hagen is expected to hit the market sometime later this year. In the meantime, you can check Skagen for other products currently available in stock.
