With his greatest-hits album, Curtain Call 2, Eminem is reissuing some of his most enduring tracks since 2005. Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment, and Interscope Records made the project available on Friday, August 5.
Em himself executive produced the two-disc album, which includes some of his most notable musical performances since Curtain Call: The Hits in 2005.
Along with solo successes like “Not Afraid” and “Rap God,” this collection also includes top-charting duets with Rihanna, including “Love The Way You Lie” and “The Monster,” as well as “Lighters” as part of Bad Meets Evil (with Royce da 5’9) and Bruno Mars’ “Lighters.”
The entire CD has 34 songs and has famous Detroit street names on the artwork, including the notable “8 Mile Road,” which divides the city from its surrounding suburbs.
The album is available on Eminem’s website along with a limited edition box set and a few signed vinyls.
When it was released 17 years ago, Curtain Call: The Hits spent two weeks at the top of the Billboard 200 list and included songs including “The Real Slim Shady,” “The Way I Am,” and “Stan.”
The renowned rapper from Michigan has 94 Hot 100 singles under his belt and 11 albums that have charted on the Billboard 200.
The announcement follows the release of “From the D 2 the LBC,” the project’s debut track, which features West Coast legend Snoop Dogg.
