Justin Bieber canceled world tour since he is putting his health first. The 28-year-old “Peaches” singer disclosed about three months ago that he has Ramsay Hunt syndrome and that he will be postponing the remaining dates of his Justice World Tour in order to focus on his health.
“Earlier this year, I went public about my battle with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, where my face was partially paralyzed. As a result of this illness, I was not able to complete the North America leg of the Justice Tour.” On September 6, Justin sent a statement to his Instagram Stories.
In making the choice to restart the European part of his tour in July, the “Yummy” singer also stated that he has spoken with his physicians, team, and family. The performance “took a terrible toll on me,” according to Justin, after six concerts.
“This past weekend, I performed at Rock in Rio and I gave everything I have to the people in Brazil. After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me and I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now. So I’m going to take a break from touring for the time being. I’m going to be ok, but I need time to rest and get better.” He added.
Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which happens when a shingles outbreak damages the facial nerve next to one of your ears, caused the “Love Yourself” singer to originally postpone a number of North American dates of his tour in June.
“This is pretty serious as you can see. I wish this wasn’t the case but obviously, my body is telling me I have to slow down. I hope you guys understand and I’ll be using this time to just rest and relax and get back to 100 percent so I can do what I was born to do.” Justin explained in an Instagram post.
The Justice World Tour, however, will begin on July 31 in Italy with a performance at the Lucca Summer Festival, a representative for the singer revealed to other sources on July 19. The journey was supposed to conclude in Poland in March 2023.
