There is so much hype for the upcoming Geneva Motor Show that you can see excitement floating through the air. This happens for good reasons. Every year, major brands boast their most amazing advances in technology and design. Furthermore, motor shows like these are the perfect chance for car enthusiasts to see what’s coming next on the market.
Indeed, many concept cars presented might end locked somewhere in a corner of the HQ. However, Seat teases a 345 HP Leon that not only it’s street legal, but it is sure to make it to production. Furthermore, it is actually the fastest road car Seat has ever built.
The Leon Cupra 300 will use a dual-clutch DSG gearbox. This will allow it to reach 60 mph (100 km/h) in a little under five seconds.
At Geneva Motor show, Seat also promises to show the racing-prepped sister of Cupra 300. Named Cupra Evo 17, it runs with a 345hp street car derived engine, pushing 309 lb-ft of torque. Fortunately, we will see Cupra Evo 17 race in touring championships around the world as soon as summer 2017.
