After getting a first look at the Louis Vuitton Nike Air Force 1 retail collection, we now have a date for the first drop of the collection to be available for purchase. Drop 1 of the highly anticipated collaboration that was designed by Virgil Abloh is expected to feature nine colorways, and 12 more colorways are set to arrive to complete the full range of 21 styles.
The retail collection is the result of a round of F&F seeding and a limited sale through Sotheby’s, which saw a total of 200 pairs being sold off at auction at the beginning of the year.
At first, it was believed that the Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 retail collection would only be made available to VIP customers. However, Drop 1 of the collection will now be available to buy online. The leading selection is going to be available in full metallic “Met Gold/Baroque Brown/Black,” in addition to the collegiate-inspired two-tone styles “White/Team Royal,” “White/Comet Red,” and “White/Gym Green.” Other colorways include the well-known tonal “Triple White” and “Black/Anthracite” expressions; however, the “Sail/Multicolor” take featuring the Damier pattern graffiti markings and the “Met Silver/Black/Dark Purple Dusk/Topaz Gold” pair are two of the colorways that particularly stand out.
The first drop of the Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 retail collection will be available on July 19 via the website of Louis Vuitton in sizes ranging from US3.5 to US18 at prices starting at USD 2,750 for the lows and USD 3,450 for the mids.
