A. Lange & Söhne are known timepiece legends o the market. Two decades ago, the Lange collection was launched, taking the world by surprise. After 22 years, the company released a Honey Gold version of the Lange 1, celebrating the amazing history of the line. The choice is pretty obvious; Lange 1 is the most successful product of the series, even though it was introduced rather late, in 2005.
All the elements of the original Lange 1 were kept while adding a timezone detail right under the 5 sub-dial. So, why gold? Just because it’s more expensive? No. Gold is known to be sturdier and harder than most materials and alloys, ensuring a longer lifetime of the final product. Of course, it also looks classy, no doubt about that. The hue of Honey Gold hits the sweet spot between yellow and Rose Gold.
The insides of the Lange 1 honey gold timepiece consists of a 417-piece mechanism. On the outside, a red GMT indicator contrasts with the white and gold background. Furthermore, contrast is enhanced by a dark brown alligator skin strap. The strap has a gold prong buckle.
Only 100 pieces are made, each available for $63,400
