If you were wondering what’s the world most expensive car, I bet you’d be thinking about Bugatti Veyron, but you’d be dead wrong. That’s because Lamborghini decided to take the crown from VAG group’s spoiled baby (I am referring to Bugatti, obviously) and released the Kraken, I mean the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster. As you would expect from Lamborghini, the Vereno Roadster is a Saudi’s prince wet dream, it has the looks and the price tag to impress those of you who are fond of material things and in love with automotive engineering. [adsense300gray]But the price tag on this beauty is at least scary : $4.5 million, enough to buy yourself a nice house, a yacht and maybe 10 other sports cars. But hey, there’s only one Lamborghini Veneno Roadster. If you have exquisite taste and a large pocket, that’s the car for you.
The Vereno is based on the Adventor and it was showcased at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013. It comes with “just” 750 bhp, thanks to its V12 engine and to reach 60 it only takes under three seconds, 2.9 to be exact. The top speed is 221 mph and it’s a pure breed, being basically a race car made road legal. The chassis is made of carbon fiber and the car’s design is as aerodynamic as humanly possible. Only 9 of these monsters will be manufactured, so, count your money and go for it, while it lasts.
