Supercars and gold plating don’t really go well together unless you’re seeing through the eyes of an oil lord who really doesn’t have anything better to do with money. Just by googling around you will come across a list of hideous Rolls Royces, Hummers, Ferraris and other luxury vehicles that have been partially or fully plated in gold. For the first time however, we are looking at a Lambo that looks above decent with its new yellow accessories.
Why is it beautiful?
We’d say mostly due to the fact that it hasn’t been just dipped in gold. Instead, the London-based firm Maatouk Design only applied gold dressing on various elements such as the side mirrors, rims, hood lining and air vents. Having a golden contour really contrasts on the crisp white paint the Lambo comes with by default, providing a luxurious but not rubbish look.
A golden heart
Maatouk Design also dropped gold plating here and there on the interior of the vehicle, again without spoiling the looks of the car. According to the design firm, the Lambo is one of a kind. It was done for a Qatar-based businessman in order to celebrate Qatar’s national day. As it might’ve been expected, no price tag was offered for this one, although you can imagine it couldn’t have come cheap, especially with all the added gold.
