Here we are: Hispotion presents one of the most anticipated whiskey releases of 2018: Knob Creek Cask Strength Rye Whiskey.
Even before it was released to the market, the Knob Creek Whiskey took the Best Rye Whiskey award at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. For those unfamiliar with the world of spirits, this is one of the greatest awards given each year for whiskey brewers.
Limited and surprisingly not expensive
The limited-edition rye will hit the market this summer. Its most notable attributes are the cask strength, the 9-year age and, the most intriguing, a $70 SRP. The combination of these elements definitely makes this rye whiskey particularly unique. Rye whiskeys are rarely released and cask strength or even with age stamps as high as 9 years.
Furthermore, given the sudden spike in demand for rye-whiskey, the $70 price tag is really something out of the ordinary, making it affordable for a wider public. We are yet to find out the number of bottles and the release date. Stay tuned as we’ll update as soon as details are released.
