On Wednesday, August 10, the pop queen and the late-night TV prince got together to deliver the gift of “Music” played on “Classroom Instruments” featuring Maddona.
The title tune from Madonna’s 2000 album “Music,” which she played alongside Jimmy Fallon and his Tonight Show house band The Roots, was given a special performance for night owls.
The “Material Girl” plays the triangle in the clip, which can be seen below, and when the lights go down, the entire cast reveals some cool fluorescents.
After a two-and-a-half-year absence, the beloved, “Classroom Instruments” featuring Maddona, commercial was reintroduced by the pop sensation.
Her previous appearance on the series was in April 2015 when she performed a new rendition of “Holiday” with Fallon and company.
A select group of performers, including Adele, Aerosmith, Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello, Justin Bieber, The Jonas Brothers, and Ringo Starr of the Beatles, have rewritten their own tunes for The Tonight Show’s comeback section. Madonna is one among them.
The member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame spoke with the talk show host as well. Madonna promised a Q&A full of “flirtation and seduction,” talked about her most recent project, the remix album Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones, and more while sporting her personalized “birthday grillz” (presumably the gift you give yourself when you already have everything).
