Jason Momoa, the actor of Aquaman and Game of Thrones, has nearly completely removed all of his renowned hair as a statement against single-use plastics. Jason Momoa shaved head actually suits him and it was for a great cause!
The actor posted a video of himself holding up his severed braids while shaving the sides of his head on Instagram.
“Doing it for single-use plastics. I’m tired of these plastic bottles, we’ve got to stop.” Jason stated.

He has captioned the post: “Here’s to new beginnings let’s spread the aloha. be better at protecting our land and oceans. We need to cut single-use plastics out of our lives and out of our seas. Plastic bottles, plastic bags, packaging, utensils, all of it. Let’s aloha our ‘āina together.”
“Plastic forks, all that s**t. It just goes into our land, goes into our ocean. I’m here in Hawaii right now and I’m just seeing some things in our ocean that are so sad. So, please, anything you can do to eliminate single-use plastics in your lives… Help me. Help me. Plastic bottles are ridiculous.” Further explained by Momoa.
In an effort to inspire others to look for alternatives to single-use plastics, Momoa also tagged his own aluminum bottled water business, Mananalu Water, which he has launched in 2019.
Fans will have to wait patiently to see his final appearance because it’s unclear whether he completely chopped off all of his hair as he terminated the video before finishing the haircut.
But Momoa has altered his appearance before in an effort to draw attention to the environmental problem . The DCEU actor cut off his trademark beard in an effort to inspire his followers to practice more ecologically responsible behavior back in 2019.
