We love it when a hypercar knows how to catch the attention of the public. Most of the time, though, real life builds tend to differ from concept art and not necessarily in a good way.
It’s not, however the case of Faraday Future’s EV Concept FFZERO1 – a 1000 HP electric powered monster. It still has to prove its abilities outside the paper, though.
Racing like a droid
The EV was presented as a single-seater racing vehicle; it doesn’t have a racing category it could compete, though, but that’s the last of worries. It features a 45 degree reclined driver seat which, according to Future Faraday, improves blood flow.
Again theoretically, the concept should be fully autonomous both on track and street once you place your smartphone on the steering wheel mounted socket. Anyone willing to see a racecar raging around the track while the driver reads a newspaper?
Scores high for looks (at least)
Everything sounds downright insane on the paper. Still, when you get a chance to look at the car, you realize its makers might have traveled a bit into the future to get inspiration.
Calling out for a “UFO line” Faraday Future aims to provide a futuristic design on all its future releases – and we find that really pleasing.
The car’s electric cells are placed between the front and rear axles. Wheelbase can be extended to fit more energy cells connected in a string. This would also account for power modulation capabilities, extended range and switching between front,
