In a surprising interview with Australian radio, Elon Musk’s 76-year-old father: Errol Musk, criticizes his tech billionaire son and discusses his contentious relationship with his 34-year-old stepdaughter.
A strange 20-minute interview with Kyle and Jackie O on KIIS FM was then held. Errol Musk has seven children overall, including two with his stepdaughter from a second marriage. Jana, Elon’s step sister , has also dismissed his son Elon Musk’s success.
“Your offspring is a genius. He’s worth so much money and has created so many things, you can’t take that away from him. Are you proud?” Jackie O questioned. Errol then hesitantly but honestly answered in disappointment: “No. You know, we are a family that has been doing a lot of things for a long time, it’s not as if we suddenly started doing something.”
Claiming that it is not out of the ordinary to be a genius in the Musk family, and Elon is merely just doing his job to keep his role as Errol’s son.
Elon, who attended this year’s Met Gala with the Tesla CEO, is his oldest child with his ex-wife, model Maye Musk. Son Kimbal and daughter Tosca are also shared by Maye and Errol Musk.
Errol said that his rich son believes his professional accomplishments are falling behind track. That viewpoint was shared by the father.
The South African engineer then responded that he drove a Bentley, Rolls Royce, and Mercedes when Jackie O inquired if he drove a Tesla. Then he also revealed to the hosts that his “pride and delight” was Elon’s younger brother Kimbal.
When asked about marrying Jana Bezuidenhout, his 34-year-old stepdaughter, whom he raised from the age of four and with whom he now has two young children, Errol stated the relationship was “totally natural.” He also stated that most relationships are solely for procreating and nothing else.
According to sources Elon Musk has revealed that he feels like his father’s relationship with Jana is indeed “creepy” or abnormal.
