Say hello to to the Equus BASS770, a “Made in the USA” muscle car, the luxury edition. I don’t know about you, folks, but I love those old-school V8 powered American muscle cars of the sixties. But, truth be told, when you’re thinking about one of those Detroit made babies, luxury is not the first thing that comes into your mind.
[adsense300gray]Now, we have the 2014 Equus BASS770, a Made in the United States of America V8 powered muscle car with a touch of luxury, the first of its kind.
In terms of design, this beauty is a homage for the iconic muscle cars of the sixties and seventies and it’s obviously built in Detroit. It comes with a custom made leather interior and it’s full of high tech gadgets. So basically, what we have here is a melange of old design and new technology. The engine is a supecharged 6.2 liter V8 capable of delivering 640 BHP, and 605 lb-ft of torque, making the Equus BASS770 a true-blue super car.
The chassis is lightweight thanks to its aluminum construction and the car is capable of accelerating from 0-60 in just 3.4 seconds.
All these come with a hefty price tag of $250,000 but if you love fast cars and classic design, this is the one for you.
