I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love thunderstorms. They’re epic and I’ve always considered them one of the most beautiful, but also a bit creepy things offered to us by nature.
If you’re thinking about the same thing, then you’ll surely love the following device, I’m talking about the Cloud Lamp. Yeap, it’s a cloud shaped lamp, as you’ve probably suspected, but that’s not the only thing that makes it special. This baby lights up as if a real storm is going in there and that’s not all. To make it seem even more real, its designer added a speaker that can be set to “sing” the creepy song of thunderstorms, but also your tunes if you’re not really into that kind of “music”. I must admit, it can be pretty scary, but it’s still awesome nevertheless.
[adsense300gray]The Cloud Lamp may seem to be a huge pile of fluff – and it is – but, beyond that, there’s an Arduino circuit, some electrical wires, LED lights and a motion detector. The Cloud Lamp senses when you get closer to it and will intensify the thunder sounds, doing exactly the opposite when you step away from it.
This miniature thunderstorm is, in my opinion, the coolest thing that you can get for making your room look more awesome, everyone’s gonna admire it. Especially your cats, if you have any of those monsters.
