Cardi B’s first face tattoo, joining celebrities like Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert, Post Malone, and many more. Robinson De Los Santos, a tattoo artist, released a video on August 14 showing the red ink being put to her cheek, however it’s unclear exactly what the new addition is.
A Cardi fan page has also released a picture of the rapper and De Los Santos together following the recording session, providing yet another sneak peek at the upcoming music.

Online rumors have suggested that the tattoo may be an homage to her son Wave. As insiders note, Cardi stated earlier this year that she was considering getting Wave’s name tattooed on her face. In January, the rapper tweeted, “I really truly want to do it.” Check out Cardi B’s first face tattoo below.

Cardi has not yet shared a photo showcasing the tattoo in its entirety. Whatever it is, Cardi B’s first face tattoo will join the star’s extensive collection of body art, including a vivid peacock on her hip and brilliant floral art on her back.
To celebrate Valentine’s Day in February, Cardi B and her husband Offset each got a tattoo of the date of their marriage, 9/20/17, on their bodies. In a video of the procedure, Cardi remarked, “This tattoo, to us, it means love.
Speaking of tattoos, Cardi is scheduled to appear in court to give testimony in a $5 million (£4.17 million) lawsuit involving the cover art for her 2016 mixtape, “Gangsta Bitch Music Vol. 1.”
Kevin Brophy Jr., the plaintiff, claims that Cardi B utilized his distinctive back tattoo without his consent in the artwork, photoshopping it onto someone else’s body to depict a man with his head between Cardi’s knees.
Brophy said in his 2017 lawsuit that the use of his likeness had been “misleading, offensive, humiliating and provocatively sexual” and had resulted in “distress and humiliation.”
Cardi has maintained that it is obvious the picture is not of the same person and that Brophy’s tattoo art was secretly added on the back of a male model who posed with her for the picture.
Cardi’s most recent song, “Hot Shit,” with Kanye West and Lil Durk, was released last month. It came after her massive 2020 hit “WAP” with Megan Thee Stallion and “Up” from the previous year.
All three songs are anticipated to be on the rapper’s upcoming second album, which will be the follow-up to 2018’s “Invasion of Privacy.” Information about the album has been sparse thus far.
