We’ve all dropped a tear inside when Bugatti released the last of the Veyrons, no question about that. But our grief may be cut short as the supercar maker is preparing an astonishing replacement for its latter flagship. Supposedly called Chiron (no official statement was made on the name), the son of Veyron is definitely built to exceed its father and provide even more style and power.
Gotta wait for it
This one will take some time, as it has been scheduled for release in spring 2016, but the wait will probably prolong as Bugatti only makes these manually and as per request.
However, some specs leaked out and the numbers are borderline inside. A 8.0 liter W16 engine with quad turbos will provide up to 1500HP along with a heroic acceleration and a top speed estimated at “just” 288 mph. It overcomes SuperSport Grand Vitesse by 300HP and 18 mph of top speed.
For now, only spy shots and a test mule riding the Nurburgring is everything that’s out there in terms of real photos for Bugatti Chiron. A spokesperson confirmed a purchase price of around $2.5 million while also commenting on the fact that there are already over 100 people who pre-ordered the beast.
