As you probably might know, the world’s fastest SUV title is held by Bentley Bentayga. It features 430HP and a staggering torque of 900 Nm, reaching 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds. Even so, it appears that the Godfather arrived. Toyota showcases the Land Speed Cruiser at SEMA 2016. The Japanese SUV is aiming to provide a maximum power of 2000 HP and reach a to speed of 350 km/h or 220 mph.
The power is getting out from a 5.7 liter V8 combined with two enormous Garrett turbochargers. They’re as big as a volleyball – a lot of air is moving through. The Land Speed Cruiser has a lower clearance as you can see from Toyota’s renders. Apart from that, the chassis has been heavily modified to improve rigidity and agility.
Unfortunately, we don’t know for sure if this boners SUV will hit the production line. At least, it’s not certain it will rest to this wild form. Whatever the output is going to be, Bentley is probably running scared at the moment. This, or planning to come out with even a bigger gun.
