Having a shot of whiskey? Tequila? Obviously, you’re not about to swallow a bullet filled with your favorite alcoholic beverage. Or, are you? Benshot came close to this concept b presenting the first ballistic barware set. While it isn’t a bulletproof-glass (although it appears so), it does hold a bullet; but just for the looks. Can’t quite wrap your head around it? Check the picture below:
A shot in a rocks glass
Technically, giving the size and shape of the glass, this one’s definitely a rocks glass than a shot one. However, getting back to the style: while the raw glass was heated up to about 1000-degrees Celsius and shaped into what was to become a proper whiskey holder, one bullet (without the lead and gunpowder) was added on the side. The result is of the highest caliber.
Dishwasher safe conversation starter
Out of words with your partner? Ignite a conversation with a bulletproof topic: the glass itself. On top of all, you can be thankful you don’t need to act like the after-party barista, left behind to clean all the glassware. The Benshot “Bulletproof” glasses are dishwasher-safe; just put them inside and let the houseware do its thing.
The Benson glass might prove to be the perfect gift for your buddy, colleague or relative. Any hunter, dad or groomsman would most likely enjoy having an unique piece of glassware on his desk.
