Avengers: Endgame can’t come soon enough? Let Coke satisfy your thirst
The newest promotional tie-in between Coca Cola and Marvel studios couldn’t have come at a better time. Perhaps as a message to cool our heels off as we eagerly await the hotly anticipated (just had to put that pun in) Avengers: Endgame, the two companies collaborated yet again to debut a limited collection of Coke cans.
The collection consists of twelve separate cans, one for every character that survived the snap in the prequel Infinity War. Done in predominantly Coke colors of red, white, and black hues, the Endgame cans feature the profiles of Ant Man, Iron Man, The Hulk, Captain America, Black Widow, Captain Marvel, Hawkeye and four other heroes from the film.
While the Avengers’ opponent galactic overlord Thanos also has his own can, it’s a little bit different from the rest. With the use of a clever design cue, all our heroes facing left and the Mad Titan facing right, we can easily visualize that the two groups don’t really see eye-to-eye.
And with a dozen uniquely designed cans, there is something for every Marvel and Coca Cola fan in this new collection.
This is not the first time that Coca Cola and Marvel worked together. The Hulk and Ant Man starred in a Superbowl commercial for Coke Mini in 2016. That campaign released a limited edition Marvel-themed six-pack Coke mini cans.
The sets are now a highly sought after collector’s item. And this year’s Avengers: Endgame Coke cans are expected to be as limited and as collectible. Coca Cola is limiting its release in Japan only and nowhere else, further increasing the cans’ desirability factor up a notch.
Avengers: Endgame is set to open in theaters on April 26. More than enough time to fly to Japan and complete your collection.
