[adsense300gray]Italians are arguably the best designers in the world and with their Autodromo Stradale Automatic line of “sport” watches, they outdone themselves.
Personally, when I think about this new collection, the first thing that comes into my mind is the Ferrari Challenge Stradale, a classic car that made my childhood worth living. The Stradale Automatic series is basically a homage to old school cars. The watch design is inspired from the dashboard instruments of the 50’s and the 60’s, the golden era of automobile. Italian berlinettas, that is. The dial is multi layered and it is protected by a sapphire crystal glass.
The leather strap of the Autodromo is custom made and it resembles the “old school” car interior of the fifties and sixties. The watches are powered by Japan made automatic movements that can be seen through the sapphire caseback. There are three colors to choose from if you can afford the $875 price tag.
