While Audi insists on calling this car a ‘concept’, it is so close to being ready for production that we can’t really regard it as just an idea anymore. It’s highly likely that withing a year this baby will roam the streets freely, putting other car brands to shame.
Well-engineered and with a somewhat conservative design, Audi is considered the German luxury car for those who don’t want an aggressive BMW or an overly extravagant Mercedes-Benz. This particular model has undergone some styling changes, but as far as Audi is concerned, they’re not groundbreaking. Consistency in design has always been a plus with the German car makers, and this is no exception from the rule. Some of these minor changes include the fact that the body sits an inch lower, the wheels are somewhat bigger and most of it (including the engine) is styled with carbon fiber and aluminium covers.
For those of you who are curious, here are some features:
-a 2.5 liter 5 cylinder engine producing a serious 360 bhp (265 kW)
-0-100 km/h in 5.2 seconds
-unrestricted top speed of 265 km/h
-seven speed gearbox
All we have to do now is wait for the car to be tested and presented to us carrying a (probably very) pricey tag.
