It is a common fashion today to blend classics with modern design elements. Some companies manage to successfully develop the mix, while others fail to. Fortunately, the Anicorn Black & Red Watches are on the bright side of the horizon. A Swiss custom made typeface beneath a sapphire crystal glass and onto concentric disk system creates a fresh take on traditional elegance, as developers state.

The Anicorn watches are using Miyota 8215 automatic movement along with three hands. It features 21 jewels and has a battery that powers the watch for up to 40 hours of working time. The 21mm case is made entirely of stainless steel, as well as the screws and the back of the watch. A PVD black plating was applied over the case, except for the back part. The glass is made out of sapphire crystal and has been AR (Anti-Reflection) coated. The strap is made from genuine cow leather, ending with a stainless steel buckle. These watches are supposed to resist up to 5atm of water pressure, according to producers.
The dial is where the Anicorn 000 Series starts to move away from other classic watch designs. There are three independent concentric discs, displaying hours, minutes and seconds. In order to read the hours and minutes, a line has been engraved on the top (north) side of the watch, lining up with the rotating compass. The watch is prone to a -20/+40 seconds/day accuracy.
Although you might find the 000 Series from Anicorn a little bit tricky to read than conventional format watches, it is definitely a quality piece of style worth of being worn on your wrist.
