The world’s largest online retailer, Amazon.com, has released the Amazon Fire TV, a popular streaming media device that occupies the first place on their best selling electronics. These devices have been on the market for a while now and the guys from Amazon have analysed their evolution and came to a conclusion about what works and what doesn’t.
Their device is said to be the best out there and probably is, as this tiny device works like a charm due to its powerful hardware, a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, with a quad-core 1.7 GHz Krait 300 processor, 2 GB of RAM and Adreno 320 GPU. The Fire TV holds 8 GB of internal storage and you also get free cloud storage for unlimited Amazon content. You just have to connect it to your HDTV and you’ll be able to watch and enjoy Hulu Plus, Netflix, Prime Instant Video, your favorite shows, low-cost movie rentals, tv series and also your personal photos, videos, music and games. It even has voice search through its mic, which is integrated in the remote, and it works without hiccups.
