Stay at home! But this doesn’t mean you shouldn’t at least check out these steaming sneakers for when all this mess is over! We’ve put together our favorite 5 sneakers of this week. Have at it!
Table of Contents
1. Casablanca x New Balance 327
New Balance gets help releasing the 327 via an awesome collaboration with Casa Blanca Paris. The low-top is well described by Charaf Tajer as a “cool italian grandad shoe”. This is visible as the design draws inspiration from 70s sportswear. The New Balance 327 is available in two colorways: bright orange and green suede overlays. The sneaker retails for $150.
2. Nike Air Max 95 NEON
While most of the spotlight in 2020 was shed on Air Max 90 due to it’s 30th anniversary, it is rumored that Nike will bring on the OG Neon colorway back on the Air Max 95. This doesn’t come randomly, as it is the sneaker’s 25th birthday. While we’re still waiting on official images, we expect to see the sneaker drop this autumn.
3. Reebok Question Mid
We’ve got a new colorway for the Reebok Question Mid, and it’s long enough it didn’t fit the headline. The “Respect My Shine” comes as hommage to Allen Iverson’s iconic journey on the basketball court. The sneaker brings on a black toe cap hiding a gold layer, with gold accents growing on the brand logos on the side and above the heel.
The Reebok Question Mid “Respect My Shine” will be available starting April 10th for $140.
4. Air Jordan 6 DMP
We’ve seen the Air Jordan 6 Retro for the first time in 2006 under the “Defining Moments” silhouette. According to multiple sources, it appears that the Jordan brand will release an identical silhouette, with the black upper against gold inserts on the logo, heel tab and midsole.
We expect to see the sneaker drop on April 18th via the SNKRS app, for $200.
5. Off-White X Nike Rubber Dunk
There has been a lot of anticipation building up around Virgil Abloh’s Off-White X Nike Dunk collab.
Dropping in summer 2020, the children of the collaboration might be just the tip of the iceberg. The future drop revolves around what’s been called the Air Rubber Dunk. While we have to wait to see the other two colorways (“White / University Blue” and “University Gold / Black”), above is a sneak peek at the Black/White/Green Strike iteration.
Expect the pack to be released with each pair rated at roughly $180.
