Fontus Is The New Technological Landmark
I know it might not look so big, but just imagine not having to plan your bike trip depending on the hydration sources available. And this is just one simple, selfish argument. For the entire world this could be a game changer. You could now literally harvest water.
Fontus is powered by solar cells and simply put, it collects the moisture from outside, the thin air, guys, condenses it and turns it into safe drinking water. In an hour’s time, under the right climatic (temperature and humidity) conditions, you can collect up to 0.5L.
I don’t know about you, but I find this amazing. I also like the design, it looks clever, although for the poor living in dire conditions, it might not be the most important aspect. Judging overall, after understanding how a great invention this could prove to be, I tend to be more grateful for the things I have in my life.
Easy To Understand
It’s easy to understand the way it works, but it’s even easier to understand how we could all benefit from Fontus. For all those accustomed to riding the bike at work or at school daily, this should be on top of your priority list.
Right now, you get one drop of condensed water per minute, but this value could vary a lot. If you want to know more about the technical process, go and check their website, the James Dyson Foundation. So far, it is just a project, but in the very near future it could become the reality we all expect it, so excited, to be.
Kristof Retezár is the name behind this innovation, which should put an end to all those sweltering days, so stay around to find out more about this in the near future.
