A New Phone, A New Challenge
The year of 2015 is over and the time has come for you to make a decision regarding the future of your pocket, or precisely, what will it contain. Let’s talk smartphones, guys. How about a compilation of the best models of the year 2015 that will most certainly remain competitive throughout the entire next year. The past twelve months have been extremely fructuous for the market and as the curtain comes down, we need to make sure no one worthy of mention is left behind.
The list is not made to put things in any order, but more to give them perspective. We are not here to classify anything or to give good or bad grades. All we want to do is help you when the time for the right decision approaches.
Lg G4
Lg has already made a name for themselves in the market with the recent models. The G4 is a confirmation to that sentence. The 5.5 IPS Quantum Display (with the same Quad HD, standing at 538 ppi) is one of the main reasons to consider it a challenger. You also get a 3GB of RAM, some great benchmark scores, a 16Mp back camera (the biggest update from the G3), an excellent modeled OS and a very high quality design and fabrication. A slot for SD card and a removable battery make it a very interesting choice. Basically, almost everything the industry has to offer right now, like NFC or quick charging is available at a lower price.
Sony Xperia Z5
A fairly consistent presence of every “top of” list is Sony and their Xperia models. X5 is more than an argument to that. Is a way of making sure these lists will never underestimate their stance. Specs for this phone are great, but let’s make one thing clear. More than the specs, this phone is a great option because of that special feeling you get when touching a Sony. I talk both design and software.
The Z5 premium brought us the first 4K screen and I want to point out that for the foreseeable future, no further advancements can be established. A nice battery, fingerprint sensor (not on the back, but on the side, where your thumb naturally sits!), a 23MP back camera with huge quality attached, the very own Walkman and PlayStation and much more are just a few of what you get in return for your trust.
iPhone 6S Plus
The specs don’t matter when it comes to Apple. That is because they use the best components available in the world, which is why their phones are never laggy and the apps crash so rarely. Keep that in mind when discussing Apple products.
What makes this one a special one is the 3D touch system. Hard pressing on your screen or your apps will pop up various options, like taking a selfie without even opening the camera and then changing modes. It might seem a bit difficult at first, but once mastered, it’s second nature.
Other than that, even if you don’t get a removable battery or an external SD card, the phone is great and unquestionable one of the best models in the market. If it’s within your price range, consider it with the uttermost respect and don’t deny its capacity to rock your world once your fingers come across the screen.
Samsung Galaxy S6
We couldn’t have left the main rival out in the cold, simply because the S6 delivered up to the expectations. They turned to a Quad HD screen, wireless charging model. Indeed, there is no external micro-SD slot, but that should not be an issue. You get Cloud Storage at purchase and unlimited Google Photos storage space for your pictures. Also, accessing anything from the internal storage makes everything feel smoother.
Talking about features and specs, I’d say from all around our list, here is where we find the best camera. Also, the battery makes a very good companion, even though not removable. Touch Wiz looks better and better and overall the phone will be a very strong model in 2016, just as the S5 has been this year.
