Cool gadgets are always portable
I found this while surfing the internet looking for the nearest located weather station from a town I was visiting last week. At first, I thought it is some kind of toy, designed only for kids, so I let it go. I gave it a look a couple of days later, back home, because the way it looked made me curious. Take a look at the picture: it’s intended to work in such a way that by only using a thermometer and a hygrometer it can tell you if the weather outside is friendly enough for you. In the moment when the two needles cross in the hatched area in the middle, you got just the right temperature and humidity outside. The thing is this little invention is able to recognize a good weather even if it might seem too cold or warm, if the humidity stays in the right interval. The result is you can calibrate your daily business or activities having a broader vision at your disposal. You need to be inside or outside in a covered space, as the station needs not so much sunlight or moisture.
Cool gadgets always look good
The concept is put in practice at a manufacturer in Germany, and to me it’s cool, it’s chic, not too hipsterish, all built in a solid brass case. It’s handy in case you want to go on a trip, or just take a walk outside. I like the shape of it too, the quadrant is clever and easy to read. I can tell you so far that this toy is for big kids, little kids, their parents, friends or God knows who, and that because it works the way it’s intended to. It’s a smart piece of retro technology, but these guys made it look so simple when it’s definetly not.
