Had the chance to spend a long weekend in Pittsburg, the northernmost town in New Hampshire. Pittsburg is 420 miles from NYC. The nearest McDonalds is 50 miles away. The nearest stop light is 70 miles away. The population density is around 1. On Sunday, I got up at 4:30am to kayak on East Inlet, near Second Connecticut Lake. We didn’t see any moose, but plenty of osprey, hawks, herons, and loons.
This shot is a blend of a 3-shot handheld bracketed exposure from a moving kayak. The trick it seems is to set the shooting mode to continuous high speed to minimize the amount of movement between exposures.
