The guys from fuseproject (a well-known company that specializes in industrial design and brand strategy) worked together with SyCip, a bike builder, and the result of their collaboration is this friendly and cute-looking bike that I was talking about.
Having three wheels, this bike is actually a tricycle. The third wheel joins the front one and together, they share a platform that can host your books, groceries, pets, even your kids – if they’re not too big, of course.
What’s so special about it ? The Local bike is designed for offering you a lot of space for carrying things without looking or feeling bulky, like the regular cargo bikes that are harder to manage and are pretty limited when it comes to cargos.
Unlike others, the Local bike has been well thought out and has ways for securing your load, even if you’re having your kids with you. I bet they’ll have a lot of fun when being carried around like that, I know I would, and I’m a grown-up…
