Even lawyers occasionally require legal assistance. She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) enlists the aid of fellow attorney Mallory Book (Renée Elise Goldsberry) in an exclusive clip from the Sept. 15 episode of Disney+’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law as she works to prevent rival Titania (Jameela Jamil) from exploiting the Hulk name and likeness for her own financial gain.
“Since the first public appearance of Jennifer Walters in her Hulk form, the public has unanimously identified her with the name She-Hulk. In fact, the name She-Hulk had not even been recorded in public discourse until that debut.” Mallory starts her case.
She-Hulk and Titania exchange cold-blooded looks from opposing ends of the courtroom, giving the impression that the building itself would ice over.
“We have a number of news items and broadcast quotes I’d like to enter into the record. Simply put, the defendant is exploiting goodwill towards my client and her better-known cousin in order to sell her non-FDA approved, sham products.” Mallory goes on.
Mallory is, of course, alluding to She-cousin Hulk’s Hulk (also known as Bruce Banner), who made an appearance as Smart Hulk in the pilot of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and is portrayed by Mark Ruffalo.
“We ask the court to grant our motion for summary judgment and order our requested remedies.”Mallory moves closer to the bench and continues.
Naturally, Titania, who is adept at using social media, finds none of this amenable and is prepared to defend herself.
“OK, first of all. Sham? Why don’t you try telling that to the thousands of testimonials from my fans who have had nothing but amazing results with my exclusive line of She-Hulk exclusive foot exfoliants, which I just so happen to have a little sample of and offer into evidence, thank you.” Titania asks a query.
On Sept. 15 on Disney+, a brand-new episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will air, revealing the outcome of the courtroom conflict.
