Regina Hall made a cringe-worthy situation into a funny one. The actress said that while filming a sex scene for their upcoming film Honk for Jesus, Sterling K. Brown “offended” her.
Hall explained why she was irritated when Brown failed to notice that her breast protruded during the sequence while speaking with reporters at the movie’s Los Angeles premiere on August 22. She joked, “I was offended that no one noticed.” In other words, she was offended no one “checked her out” and in response, Sterling said he was trying to be respectful.
The new comedy, which debuts on September 2, stars the two as Trinitie and Lee-Curtis Childs, the First Lady and Pastor of a Southern Baptist megachurch. They must cooperate in order to restore both their reputations and their congregation after a controversy involving the latter briefly closes their church.
“Shooting in the sun, so that by the time I had my makeup off, I had a tan. I was like, ‘So, what am I doing on the weekends? It looks like something’s wrong with me.'” Regina admitted.
Hall said to sources that filming the numerous outdoor sequences for the film led to the development of strange tan lines on her body in addition to the exciting sex scene.
In spite of this, Hall and Brown both looked stunning at the premiere in glittery emerald green suits.
Brown addressed the recent trend of male celebrities wearing skirts on the red carpet, including Brad Pitt. He also said that fans may anticipate seeing him in a skirt in the future. In reply he did not give a definite yes or no but assured the audience he can “rock anything”. Maybe we will spot him in heels or even better a dress!
Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul appears in theaters on Friday, September 2nd
