Check out this week’s sneakers! We’re proud to say you won’t be disappointed. The list is below, so don’t waste time reading this introduction…
Table of Contents
1. Asics GEL-Kayano Trainer Knit
Asics is more and more open to adding new tech to their classic design. As a result, we’re looking at a 4 colorway GEL-Kayano set, ready for spring. The sock-like upper and single toned colorways mix well in the new pack. Available on Feature for $150.
2. Nike Zoom Vaporfly Elite
The best time in a marathon run was established during the 2014 Berlin marathon, counting 2 hours and 2 minutes. Nike aims to provide footwear that will help athletes break under the 2 hour barrier. Part of a larger set, the Nike Zoom Vaporfly adds more cushioning to maximize energy return. This is the full opposite of what most long run shoes do, i.e. being as light as possible.
3. Air Jordan 1 “Suede”
Usually, the Jordan Brand releases in multiple colorways. However, this time we are looking at a tonal AJ1, available in Blue and Red. The upper consists entirely of suede, along with corresponding midsoles. So far, the only detail available is an estimated release sometime this spring.
4. adidas Originals NMD_R1 “Khaki/Brown”
The hugely popular NMD_R1 model gets a Boost Technology upgrade from adidas. Khaki and brown are the main tones of the new colorway. The mix of tones resembles the Yeezy, but with more comfort thanks to the shock absorbing outsole. Available on SneakerPolitics for $130.
5. KAWS x Air Jordan 4
Once again, we’re featuring a leather treatment on behalf of the Jordan Brand. The grey suede and glow in dark outsole is the result of a collaboration with KAWS. The sneaker will be released this spring, online, for about $300.
